Continuation of last thread - for all Death Eaters [22 Aug 2005|11:39am]

"My loyal followers", Voldemort said to the gathered crowd. "The time is nearly ripe. The plans I have been formulating for years are almost to fruition." He allowed himself a smile as he wandered through the ranks of Death Eaters gathered to him. "And once everything is said and done, your unquestioning loyalty will not go unrewarded."

He strode back towards the center of the room, his minions in a circle about him. "Those of you in the Ministry - continue as you are, but do what you can to create confusion, even among the little things. The more the Ministry's hands are tied, the quicker our work will progress, and the less they will be able to hinder us. Those of you at Hogwarts - create dissention within the ranks of students. I myself will be visiting Hogwarts personally." Voldemort almost shuddered - he would be forced to use that hideous muggle name for himself at that time, but he steadied himself by deciding that it was worth the degredation should he attain what he desired.

"If any of you have anything interesting to report, now would be the time." The Dark Lord finished, looking around the room.

September 4
Gryffindor common room
Lunch break

After finishing her lunch, and noticing she still had plenty of time left on her break, Dorcas decided to go back to the common room, before classes. She was hoping to find someone to chill and talk with. As she entered through the portrait hole, she smiled when seeing...

Where: Great Hall
When: Breakfast, September 4
Who: Everyone! woohoo

Sirius strolled into the Great Hall with his usual grace. Searching the Hall, he dimly realized none of his friends were there yet. He shrugged and walked to his usual seat taking a muffin from a 1st year as he did so. He grinned at the young boy who simply shrugged and went back to the rest of his food. He took a large bite of the muffin and waited for someone to arrive.

Where: The library
Who: anyone
How: oh please
What: really now, this is getting stupid...
Why: oh, be quiet already.

Caradoc sat in the library, feet propped up on a second chair, leafing through a large leather-bound book. His usual sunglasses were off, as the light in the library was pretty dim.

Keira sat in what was normaly Remus Lupins favorite arm chair, studying her potions notes and trying to work out the massive amount of homework they had been given by Slughorn. Potions had never been her best subject, and she desperately needed help.

September 3, afternoon
Open to: Anyone, preferably Voldemort sympathizers

The young-ish wizard screamed in agony as the Cruciatus curse hit him straight on. Not that he was able to avoid it or anything - being magically bound, and without a wand, usually left one vulnerable to such things. And the wizard who was pointing the wand at him to sustain the curse was also much more powerful than most, so the ability to escape was that much more diminished.

Lord Voldemort finally relented as the man's screams died down due to exhaustion, pulling back his wand, and gazing upon the captured wizard with cruel, amused eyes. The man was an employee of the Ministry of Magic, and his disappearance was sure to be noted in the Daily Prophet the next day, but that was hardly a concern to Voldemort. Any free publicity was good publicity.

His followers had not interrogated the man, nor had they questioned him. He had been brought in specifically to torture and kill. The first part was nearly over, and the only question about the second part was who was to have the honor of killing him, and how. The body would be left on the doorstep of the Ministry later.

Voldemort wanted his supporters with him in the wizard's final moments. Taking one of his Death Eaters, Voldemort pressed his finger to the Dark Mark that burned black on the man's left bicep. His followers would feel the summon, and be called to his side. The Dark Lord's eyes burned brightly in triumph. His day was coming, and it would be soon.

September 3, Morning
Open: Anybody

Lily made her way to the Great Hall, ready to have herself a nice breakfast. It seemed like it was going to be a great day... Especially now that she had made plans with James that evening. Sure, it was for Head Boy and Girl business but still, it meant time with her boyfriend. She grinned as she sat down at the table, greeting anyone who was there. "Hello! Beautiful morning, don't you think?"

Gryffindor Common Room...
late at night/early morning
Open to: ANYONE! -cure the boredom please...

Dorcas sighed, after looking at the window. She had just woken up, and it was still very dark outside... she looked at her watch. It wasn't even close to sunrise. She put her pink robe on (which was a bit too big for her) and walked down to the common room, hoping to find warm confort by the fire, and fun in some book. Of course, it'd be much better if someone would show up, but, at that time, she really wasn't expecting anyone to be awake...

Outside Campus
Open to: Anyone

Lily made her way outside after potions class. It had been just as she expected, a whole lot of potion making with a whole lot of Slughorn talking to her. She really could not concentrate in that class when he's going on and on about... Something. Sighing, she placed her bag onto the bench and sat down herself, exhausted. She made a mental reminder to go inside after a while to get lunch but for now... She'd just sit outside relaxing.

Severus had finished his food as fast as he could, so he would have free time to spend in the library. He wanted to start working in what he had been planning through summer as soon as possible. He wandered around the hallways, looking for the best potions books. He was glad no one was around...

Open to: anyone, I'm bored :P

Dorcas walked into the Hall with a smile on her face: she had surely missed life at Hogwarts. She took her usual seat at the Gryffindor table, and let out a "good morning!" to no one specific: she was just trying to start some nice conversation.

Gryffindor Commonroom, After Dinner

Katrina smiled to her self after comming back down to the common room after she finished unpacking all her things. It had never taken her long. She butted a 4 year out of her favorite chair near the fireplace and sat down, pulling her legs up under her and took out a book she'd been reading on the train. It was a muggle romance book, but she couldn't help but enjoy the uncomplicated relationships in it. It must be nice.....not having a past to worry about.

First day of School, September 1st
Great Hall, Feast
Open to: EVERYONE!

Albus, wisened over his many years, sat in his normal throne like seat in the middle of the staff table at the head of the great hall. He watched with great amusment as all the new 1st year students were sorted into their new houses, then found their seats. He waited until everything was cleared away before he gracfully stood, and held up his arms waiting for silence. When he got it, he began in a very calm tone, addressing all the students.

"Welcome to another fine year at Hogwarts. I'd like to welcome all our new 1st years, and welcome back all the rest of the students. I'd like to remind you all that the Forbidden Forest is still," he glanced over the room, his gaze falling 4 certain Gryffindors. "off limits to all students who do not wish to die a most painful death. I'd also like to remind my students, " his gaze now feel upon a certain Gryffindor girl he was in fact related to. "That the Astronomy Tower is not a place to spend your nights. Now, let us eat!" Albus clapped his hands together and mountains of food appears on all the tables.
